26 Mar 09 Sony X1000 also coming in red? + Official Video Demo
Thanks to some documents by the FCC, it looks like the Sony X1000 is also coming in red. The report provides a label ID for a Black model, and a Red one:

This is nothing new for Sony of course. Sony has put out a red model for just about every DAP they’ve made. Now the only question is whether it’ll get the same Granite treatment as the black model, or something different (maybe marble!). Either way, it’s bound to look sexy.
Official X1000 Video Demo
Sony has also created a demonstration video of the X1000. Among other things, it highlights the player’s multitude of audio enhancements (S-master amplifier, digital noise cancellation, etc..), slick interface, and how it syncs with computers. The X1000 appears to be a UMS device, or “open format” as the video describes it. A little transfer window shows up on your computer, allowing you to drag and drop files onto the player from any folder, or program, including iTunes.
