27 Mar 09 iriver does it again - the new D50N
In the past week, iriver has released the P7, P35 and E150, which is a lot of devices in a really short time. Today, iriver released the newest Dicple (iriver’s lineup of e-dictionaries), the D50N. The D50N is very special because of the “N” at the end of the name. As you may have guessed, the N stands for network, meaning Wi-Fi support. There is much to like about this new device. First of all, it supports pretty much all the functions of the P35 but adds a keyboard, which is great for internet surfing. The device has 16GB of memory, a 4.8″ touch LCD (800X480) and a very attractive external display (+ touch buttons) for music playback.
All in all, I’d say that the D50N is like a premium version of the P35. The fact that the D50N has a superior display and keyboard makes it a better PMP/MID than the P35. The D30N is the most expensive of recent iriver devices at around $370USD.
